Red Moon Womb Herbal Body Oil

Red Moon Herbal Body Oil is soothing and nourishing for your time of menses and its symptoms. Specifically formulated with infused herbal oils, this blend will help to reduce cramps, spasms, and pain due to your cycle.

Hops infused oil:

Hops are known for its antispasmodic properties that will help reduce muscle spasms and tension. It is anti fungal, antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory. Hops have sedative and hypnotic nerve activities. The polyphenols, named below, in hops have good antioxidant properties.

Consituents: sesquiterpenoids, diterpenoids, and triterpenoids, phytoestrogens, and the flavonoid xanthohumol

I would personally do more research if you have endometriosis before using this product. Hops are a known phytoestrogen, specifically contain 8-prenylnaringenin. Phytoestrogens are anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant but are also recognized as endocrine disruptors that can interfere with the body's hormones. Thus, in endometriosis, which is an estrogen dependent disease this is important to note. Because this is an external product vs an internal one it is hard to pinpoint the potency of the hops and phytoestrogen it creates. Please as stated above do you own research and find what works for you.  

Mugwort infused oil:

Mugwort is an amazing menstruation herb. It increases blood flow to the pelvic region by warming and creating circulation of the blood. Mugwort is a nervine sedative, and a mild uterine antispasmodic. It will relax you and brings deep awareness to your womb space. 

Anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, good for ezecma, psoriasis.

Antioxidant, good for dry chapped skin. Mugwort is becoming a popular skincare production in Asian countries. Used in topical skincare for its soothing and repairing properties.

Active Constituents: flavonoids, coumarins, essential oils, and sesquiterpene lactones all reduce inflammation 

Lavender infused oil:

Lavender is also an antispasmodic and helps relax constricted blood vessels. It is highly relaxing through the muscles and the nervous system. 

Anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, antioxidant. 

It kills Staphylococcus aureus, a type of bacteria that may cause eczema. Antioxidants help to reduce free radicals, thus helping fine lines and wrinkles. It stimulates collagen production helping to promote tissue growth and reduce scars and burns. 

Active constituents: linalool, linalyl acetate, lavandulol, geraniol, or eucalyptol

Calendula infused oil:

Calendula soothes pain and injuries and promotes healing of the tissue. It is an emmenagogue, meaning it promotes blood flow to the pelvic area and uterus. 

Promotes active tissue repair, soothes sore and chapped skin, prevents dermatitis and skin inflammation 

Known for its skin healing benefits. It is a vulnerary, meaning it promotes cell repair and is an antiseptic. 

Active Constituents: Triterpenoids: anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial properties. 

Castor Oil:

Is an emmenagogue, stimulates the pelvic floor, and blood flow to the uterus and endometrium lining. It also helps to bring lymphatic fluid which reduces metabolic waste and congestion in the area. Castor oil also supports liver function which is critical for the balance of hormones that regulate estrogen metabolism. This will decongest the liver, and decrease inflammation, swelling and pain to support hormonal balance and function. 

Suggested Use: Apply to affected skin areas. Can be used as a massage product or as a castor pack. Use as needed. 

Shelf Life: Keep in dry, dark area. Stable for 1 year. 

Skin patch test prior to use is highly encouraged.
